The Grilled Cheese has become HUGE.

Everytime I turn around I am reading about grilled cheese sandwiches, this week in the New York Times for example.

  2. 1. Must be American Cheese (but not cheese “food” — horrors!) or cheddar (but don’t slice it too thick or you’ll be sorry).

    2. Must be grilled in butter.

    3. Must be made with white bread.

    4. Once in a while I will put just a little mayo on it — but not too much and not too often!

    5. Overcooking is ok, but watch out for that melted cheese lava flow.

    6. Make them at midnight, they’re extra good then.
